Backstory
Aranya, a resident of Kolhapur, Maharashtra, is not a typical feminine person. Despite fighting for her family members in society, she remains kind and compassionate, always willing to help in need. As animal enthusiast, she has a dog and rabbit as pets and spends her free time with animals Growing up, she was connected to nature and enjoyed gardening. Her name means forest, and she often visits the nearby Panhala forest for some quiet time. As a journalist, she covers Kolhapur's natural greenery and sacred places.
Individuals suffering from an uncommon illness caused by animal bites are rushing to hospitals in the city as they approach the end of their lives. The animals responsible for the attacks are out of control. Despite receiving appropriate medical care and medication, patients are dying within a few days. A game is played by an individual with supernatural powers to manipulate animals and gain strength from the souls of those who die from the illness. This person is responsible for spreading the rare disease and manipulating innocent animals.
Aranya visited the forest as part of her daily routine and witnessed a dog chasing a little boy. Despite knowing that intervening would make her a target, she saved the child. However, the dog continued to attack, and due to her love for animals, she couldn't harm it. As a result, she sacrificed herself to protect the child. The dog bit her, but the virus the bite granted her powers instead of a disease, allowing her to protect others from the villain's cruel game. The virus was not fully contained, which resulted in her receiving only the powers and nothing else.
